BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS - Please
read prior to making your reservation
Travel Insurance: We consider insurance
to be essential for all bookings. Please ensure that you have
insurance to cover cancellation for medical reasons or other
unforeseen events.
Amendments: We do charge an amendment
fee automatically of Aud$50.00 for each amendment. If, however,
we incur additional costs to change your booking, your tour
cost will be adjusted accordingly. Amendments which alter
air travel will also be subject to the conditions of the air
fare.
Costs: All costs are expressed in
Australian Dollars and were correct as at December 2005. We
reserve the right to alter the quoted rates where there are
increases in any feature of the holiday. If one of our packages
is unable to meet your requirements we will customize your
package. A booking fee of Aud$30.00 per booking will apply
to cover administration and planning charges. Note component
breakdown of a package cost is not available.
Validity: Departures effective 1
May 06 to 31 September 07
Special conditions - 1. 25% of the
tour cost is payable upon booking. If not paid within seven
(7) days your booking will be cancelled 2. The balance is
due 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation and Refunds - Land arrangements
- Cancellation Fees apply if it is necessary to cancel
your holiday. More than 60 days before departure. Loss of
Deposit Less than 60 days before departure Up to 50% of tour
costs Less than 30 days before departure Up to 100% of tour
costs Less than 14 days before departure 100% of tour costs
Cancellation fees for some products may vary please check
with Alaska Bound when booking. Cancellation charges cannot
be waived there will be no exceptions. No refunds on unused
services after departure from original city. Please note that
employees of any overseas suppliers are not authorized by
Alaska Bound to make any undertakings to our clients in respect
of refunds or any other matters.
Cancellations & Refunds - Air Arrangements
- Cancellation fees will apply as required by the airlines
regulations and will vary dependant upon the type of airfare
booked. Airfares prices and conditions are subject to change
or withdrawal without notification until ticketed. Full payment
is required before tickets can be issued. Alaska Bound can
not be held liable for any increases in prices or changes
to the rules and conditions. Foreign currency airfares and
airport taxes may fluctuate and are subject to the rate of
exchange on the date of ticket issue. Increases in airport
taxes are not the responsibility of Alaska Bound and can be
imposed up to departure.
Consumer Claims: Should you encounter
any problems on your holiday and wish to lodge a complaint
please do so within 30 days of completing your Alaska Bound
arrangements.
Responsibility: Alaska Bound acts
as agents only for those services provided on the itineraries,
other than those owned by the Company. All arrangements are
finalised on the express conditions herewith - "that
Alaska Bound shall not be liable for any injury, accident,
delay or irregularity occasioned either through defects on
the part of any conveyance, by acts of God, or through defaults
on the part of any person or company engaged in conveyancing
the passengers or in carrying out arrangements for these holidays
otherwise in connection herewith.
Alaska Bound reserves the right to amend,
make variations or cancel holidays or any part thereof. The
passage contract used shall constitute the sole contract.
All tickets, coupons, or orders are issued
subject to the terms and conditions under which they are offered
or supplied''. Participating airlines do not by virtue of
their endorsement of this brochure represent themselves either
as contracting with the purchaser or the holiday from Alaska
Bound or as having any other legal relationship with any such
purchaser.
Alaska Bound cannot be held responsible
for any changes which may occur and reserves the right to
increase the price of any travel arrangements up to the date
of departure. This includes adjustments for devaluation, fuel
surcharges, air-fare increases as well as international exchange
rate fluctuation.
A booking is accepted only after the company
receives the deposit and issues the client or their travel
agent confirmation invoices. The balance must be paid no later
than 60 days prior to departure otherwise the company will
treat the booking as cancelled regardless of whether a deposit
is being held.
All bookings are subject to availability.
Alaska Bound is a member of the Travel Compensation
Fund (TCF).
